I hope your mother-in-law has a quick recovery. That's a difficult thing to bounce back from, I'm glad she has such a great family to help her though it. I still want to watch one of the boys wrestle! I grew up with it, and still think it's quite a thrill! Tell Nathan that which does not kill him... It's true though, once he catches up, he's going to be a force to reckon with! This year (and maybe next) is just for practice!!! I'm glad you're feeling better. See you at work!

Hey girl, I am so glad to get an update on everything since we haven't talked forever!!! I guess your holidays were packed with a few things that no one wants to expreience but am glad to hear that Joan got through her surgery and is on the road to recovery. I am so glad to hear that you are better also. I always know that when I don't hear from you or can't get hold of you that you are down for the count for awhile. Love your house by the way. I've never seen it you know! We have been dealing with basketball seaon here. I agree they should start things after the holidays. Travis and Derek are involved. Just wanted to say hi and again I'm glad to hear that all is well with you and family! Love, Kim

So many great things in this post!

It is quite a different experience to watch your children compete than it is to compete yourself!

I re-discovered how competitive Mar and Emily are! Wow, they really get into it.

I was talking to my Dad about Mom before she went into surgery and got all the details. Mar then talked to Dad and asked, would you like Jonathan to come up? Dad said yes. I felt pretty stupid, I hadn't even thought of it, but Mar knew exactly what to do. I'd be pretty much a loser without her!

I was so grateful things worked out that I could go. There were absolutely no seats on the plane, but the ticket agent ticketed me to Saint Louis instead of Salt Lake. With my brother, Michael's help, the airline re-arranged things so I could fly! Small miracles.

It was very nice to spend time with mom and dad. They have a very strong bond and love for each other.

But they didn't stay long enough :)
