She came home from the shop today.
She went in for her routine check-up but was detained while they waited for a part to arrive for the clock. It would always run fast. No matter how much I reset it, it would continue to speed up. I joked that the clock must have been connected directly to the accelerator.
Personally, I believe it took so long to get the part because they wanted to take her out for a spin!
Gladly we were in Atlanta during most of that time. We were also given another little mini to drive which was so nice but I missed my own little mini.
Everyone was excited to have her back. Even Nathan said "Oh you got your cute mini back today."
Buddy Hackett was right on target in "The Love Bug" when he theorized that machine could gain a life of it's own.
Herbie was the first, Carlotta is right on Herbie's heels! She's become more than a vehicle, she has a place in the heart of the Lloyd family
