Karen

Looks like she's already getting started with her gymnastics.... practicing the splits. Who could mistake those cute cheeks and big beautiful eyes! (And stylishly setting a precedent for the hats to come in her future little sister's life!)
What an absolutely adorable picture!!

It's Emily!!! I can tell by the couch in the background, and the cute rolly-polly boy next to her. What a great picture!

Marilyn

I hope you cannot tell by the couch...that was a freebie by the side of the road and we got rid of it a long, long time ago!

Jonathan Lloyd

What a wonderful picture!

I remember the rolls, but I forgot about how cute Nathan and Emily were together!

We weren't sure if Emily was going to make it... or her Mom... it was a very difficult time. Marilyn found out that she had Lupus and was limited to bed rest for most of the pregnancy. We had a marvelous set of friends in Vermont that helped out, especially Marilyn's friend, Resa Nilson. Resa took Nathan nearly every day. Nathan was a very agreeable and thoughtful boy even at a young age. He also was very worried about Marilyn and would often toddle into the bathroom and rub Marilyns head or back during her morning sickness (that lasted all day and throughout the pregnancy).

Then came Emily. She was very healthy and had rolls and rolls. We were so grateful and surprised given the difficulty of getting her here.

A few weeks after she arrived, Nathan asked his Mom when we were going to take her back to the hospital!

Emily, I know you really, really want to be just like your Mom (and I'm very happy you do!) But I sure hope you have an easier time getting your little ones here.

Ginger Upshaw

Definitely Emily!!! I love those rolls!! You do have cute babies!!! Want to have one for me?

Joan

It's my red, white and blue girl, Emily!!! Cute then, beautiful now.

Love,
Joan

Lori

Wow!
Now THAT's a cute baby! The little rolls of fat make her even more lovable. (Oh, how I miss those days!) My guess would be Emily.

Louise

Emily!! We all loved this picture of her and of course Nathan too.

Resa

Of course, that is Emily! I knew right away. Cute, cute,Emily. The "made(maid) in Vermont" girl!

Teresa

So cute, Emily! Wow, time flies!

Kim

Now that's the way a baby should be...lots of chub to cuddle! You have the most darling looking kids, then and now! However, I am sure Emily that you are glad the chub did not stick around. You have grown into a beautiful young lady!!!

Valerie

Who is that darling thing? YOU?

LOVED looking over your page. LOVED seeing the Bacas. LOVED reading your notes and seeing you and your family. LOVED the red shirt! You are something else!

Love you-- Valerie

Emily

Now that everyone has had their guess, and after reading all the comments, I am proud to say that the cute roly poly baby is ME!!!!! Mom, you always told me I was a chunky baby, but until I saw that picture, I didn't know how chunky I really was.

LOVE YA TONS MOM!!!!!
