SO THE SAYING GOES...
I guess it all depends on your perspective.
For some "no news" may mean good news, for others that same "no news" may not be so good...
I'm not really sure what our "NO NEWS" means.
Our beautifully fenced in home has been on the market for 2 weeks now.
No showings.
Not one.
Strange.
I understand all of the reasons but still question why in two weeks, two whole weeks, two weeks of home-keeping perfection, we have had not one showing!
Reasons:
Bad weather, i.e. LOTS of rain, lighting and thunder, flooding rains, etc. Housing market saturated. Poor market. Existing homes in the area are NOT selling due to new home building and expansion of roadways near our home. New, rather large, buildings going in across the street, such as Target. Fourth of July holiday, people are celebrating and traveling. Some are not looking for a home with such a gorgeous fence!
OK.
But 2 weeks and not ONE showing?
This news may be good news to you.
Or bad.
Depending on whether or not you would like us to move to CO.
We are hoping your bound for the Rockies! you've built the fence they will come. All of us mountain folk are waiting for ya, with frontier jibberish and all!

What is the deal? Do we have a big 'target' painted on the front of our house?
Come on you house hunters - you'll not find another house like this one!
Thanks for all your hard work Mar,
JD

I have to say, selfishly, it is not good news for me. I want my buddy Mar back. I know everyone there is sad to see you go, but I was in that position about 7 years ago. I am excited to have my bud close again! Keep your chin up and know that the Lord is in charge, not us.

I can't believe it. I think your reasons are dead on. Realtor needs to have an agents tour!!!
