What a blessing it is for me to be your father. Thank you for everything you are and are becoming.

I can't believe you are already 13! Just think, only 6 more years and you'll be driving! And 10 more years and you'll have your first date! Life is moving too fast. It'll be here in no time!

Love you,

Happy birthday Emily,
Rachelle and I hope your birthday is awesome! Save some cake for us!

Happy Birthday Emily!!!!! I can't express how excited and proud I am for you. You are just beginning a time of life that can be truly amazing. I think high school will be wonderful for you. You are so bright, beautiful, and absolutely downright good. You are like a little mini model of your mom: truly beautiful inside and out. It is so rare to come across angels on earth like you, and I am blessed to be related to a whole family of them!! I can't believe how much you have changed and grown over the last year. You are becoming a beautiful young woman. I hope you'll forgive me when I say that every time I see you, I still see this little blond girl standing on Grandma's front steps calling, "'mere, bunny, 'mere!"

PS, I think we need to teach your dad how to count...

Bright, beautiful, and good to the core. You are a joy not only to your family, but to many others as well. Happy Birthday, Emily!

Happy Birthday, Emily! You are a beautiful girl.

Glad to know I will be living in your house for the next 20 years, spending your money, eating your food, getting rides from you everywhere!! Hey, if you want, I'll stay the next 30 years! I love mom's cooking, and I know you are having a hard time letting go!

Everyone Else,
Thank you so much!! I love you tons!

Mom, I love the pictures! They are adorable!

Happy birthday!! I hope that today is an absolutely wonderful day. I am so glad that you are a part of my life! You always brighten my day. Just thinking of you brings a smile to my face. I love you so much!!

I hope you know how special that you are to me. I

Happy Birthday once again!!

Happy Birthday Emily!!!!!
Hope you had a good one.
I am glad you came into my life.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

PS again: Love your pictures MOM!!!!

Only Aunt Mar can look so drop dead gorgeous (or is that georgeous?) so soon after giving birth!!

You can stick around as long as you like! I enjoy carting you around in the old truck!

Mar, it's easy for you to say how lovely Emily is...YOU TWO ARE CLONES!!!!!!
Emily, I'm proud of you and I'm proud to know you.
It was fun trying to make you laugh as you were walking with the band last Friday. I guess I could have really cracked you up if I would have yelled, "HEY EMILY! STOP THROWING QUARTERS IN MY MILKSHAKE AT SONIC!!!"
Happy Birthday, Girlfriend!!!

Happy Birthday you beautiful girl! I love all the cute pictures of you as a little girl. You have that same sweet magical smile now! What a lucky girl you are to have been given the beautfiul genes of your mom! (Sorry Jonathon but it is a known fact that Mar is prettier than you...LOL!)

And by the way...where did the knickname come from? Call me stupid, but I do not know that little story!

Happy Birthday Emily! Truly a teenager and beautiful as ever. We love you, The Baca's

Happy Belated Birthday Emi! You obviously have many fans! You have a solid foundation, and will make your mark on this world for sure. I'm proud to know you as well, I am always amazed by you Lloyd kids. Very special birthday wishes for you Emily!

Joan Lloyd

Dear Emi:

We were in Kauai on your birthday. Did you get our birthday message and song? I know it's silly, but it's the Lloyd tradition. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much grandmpa and I love you. You are one out of five of our grandaughters. They are a special comodity in the Lloyd household. We are so proud of you. Grandma thinks you are absolutely amazing, cute, fun, funny, and are becoming lovely, pretty, amazing, cute fun and funny. Grandpa thinks you are absolutely wonderful and full of Lloyd jokes. He has a certain claim on you Emi. We both love you so very much and we know you have been blessed with beauty and talent. Sometimes I think you don't have a clue to how really wonderful you are. Read your whole birthday blog again and you will get the idea. And your dad . . . well he's like all dads . . . a little bit funny and a little bit too protective of beautiful, special people, who happen to be daughters.

We love you Emily.

Mom, what do you mean a little bit funny?? I'm 'a lot' bit funny!

Grandma Sherril

Dear Em:
I spaced your B-Day and so did your Grandpa. Life has been so crazy lately that I didn't even think about the date or anything else until today. I feel awful about not calling and wishing you a happy B-Day. We love you so much and want you to know how wonderful we think you are. I had to laugh at your dad's comments. He is a lot bit funny.
