I told you last week about a friend of ours with testicular cancer, that tumor was removed and another large tumor was found pressing on his kidney. He has started treatment for that tumor.
Joan has returned to her home for the remainder of her recovery. She is so happy to be back home!
I heard from Ashton's doctor today, he is being sent to a pediatric nephrologist now.
Megan went back to her eye specialist today and has improved slightly from the last appointment. More patching (3 hours a day) is required and her glasses lenses will be replaced by some that will be completely clear. She has transition lenses now and with her condition, she needs as much light to enter her eye as possible; the doctor felt that her lenses did not become clear enough for sufficient light to enter and help her continue to improve.
Onward and upward!
All are in our prayers.
Glad to hear all of the positive updates. I hope your friend will have good fortune with his tumor treatment. The older we get, the more we are surrounded with the problems associated with our health. Not only from our own selves but friends and family around us. We sure aren't getting any younger!
