YOUR LOVE AND YOUR PRAYERS TO TULSA.
*****Latest UPDATE: The pathology report came back good, really hopeful! The margins were clear. No radiation, no chemotherapy needed. But she does need to decide whether or not to have a hysterectomy. If she opts not to do the procedure, she will be evaluated and tested every 3 months.
***Feb. 19th UPDATE: Stacy's surgery went well yesterday, her doctor told her that he would have her pathology report back from the lab today. We are praying for the best!
My really good friend, Stacy, needs them.
I know that I have lots of Stacy's in my life, I am referring to Stacy a.k.a. Nurse Stacy, or Julia, Katelyn and Bryan's mom and Dak's wife.
Stacy has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
She went in for her routine 3 month check up after having baby Bryan, and found an abnormal spot on her cervix.
It was determined that it is cancerous.
Her surgery is scheduled for Monday morning.
I am hoping and praying that all will be well with her.
And I am trying to figure out how to get to Tulsa with a car load of food, love and support!
Stacy and Dak,
I am so thankful that Mar brought you into our lives!
Our prayers are with you.

Dear Stacy:
I am so sorry to hear about your cancer and will be praying for you. We think of you often and also of noodle. We had so much fun with her. We are certainly glad we were able to meet you while we were in Texas. We hope that you will be feeling well soon.
Love, (Mar's mom)

What you all should REALLY know is how nice it is to have wonderful friends like Marilyn in your corner. Then again, you all DO know that!!! It's been a rough road since we moved to Tulsa, but Marilyn not being around has got to be the worst part for me. When she learned of my situation, she rallied the troops. It's been nice receiving caring phone calls and love from Frisco. It all happened so fast. I'm sure the caring, prayers and support can reach across the world. It definitely crosses states very well. Thank you all. We've decided to go ahead and opt for a hysterectomy. It will mean no more Frisbies in our clan, but that I will hopefully be around for the ones already here!
