I absolutely love "froggy" mornings because everything is so quiet. You only hear an occasional bird. Like you said, everything is still slumbering. It also reminds me of Germany. At 11 yrs old, I delvered papers on many a foggy morning there. I loved it.

Fog has not traditionally been my favorite, first of all, I'm not a morning person, so I try not to catch the fog or sunrise too often. I much prefer the sunset, swirl of clouds in front of a very bright moon, or the sound of crickets late at night. The only time I usually see fog when I'm trying to drive to work in it, which isn't so fun. I appreciate your perspective of the fog though, I hadn't thought of it that way. I did catch a lovely (later morning) fog the first month after we moved that just hovered and bellowed over the pond waters. That was serene, I'll try to remember that one!
