Just took a couple of days--went to Granbury, TX with my friend Kim. (More on that later.)
Tired and a little out of it, I wonder...
what did my family DO while I was gone?
Wear every stitch of clothing in the house?
I can just hear them, "Hey, let's make everything dirty while mom is gone, she'll never want to leave us again!" OR "Wow, look at all of the laundry we are leaving for mom, she will definitely know that we NEED her to stay home now!"
I was only gone a couple of days!
And this is not all of it, I have already started breaking into the pile. Trouble is, I haven't checked to see how far up the laundry chute it goes... (It could be 2 stories high!)
A couple of days...that's all I need.
A couple of days... or perhaps a week?

I agree, you do need a few days off. I do too, and then maybe an extra day to catch up on your blog. I will, I promise! I do love and miss you, and think about you every day. I will have to catch up another night however, because I have to be up for work at 4:30, and still have laundry and dishes to do! Love the photo by the way!

I was physically there and did not see the kids wear but one outfit a day!!! Very interesting...What little plan were they trying to hatch?
Sorry you are worn out! We did way too much laughing and staying up late. But I did love every minute of it!
So cute self-portrait at our home away from home.

Well Kim, I guess since we were techinically in Granbury over the weekend, we will never truly know what just went on here at home. Whatever it was, fashion show, wear as many clothes as you can in one day, or otherwise...it is sealed...they are NOT talking!

You know, I think that what you need is a little bit of Utah time. That makes everything better, right??

They must have frantically cleaned their rooms knowing that you'd be home soon. All the piles finally made it to the laundry. That's what happens at my house.

Isn't it "funny" how we sometimes pay dearly for the little vacations that we treat ourselves to . . . coming back to so much to catch up on.
I'd be happy to come and have a laundry party with you! :)
