While visiting Galveston is 2004, I was so struck by the humility of the island. Outside of the tourist destinations, it is not a fancy town with fancy people. Rebuilding will be quite a process. Glad to heat that the Church is involved.

I like what both Uncle Johnathan said, and your friend Valerie. There isn't much national coverage, yet the Church is still helping. I appreciate very much that the Church helps where it can, anytime that it can, whether or not lots of people will hear about it.

Having gone through my own devastation in May, my heart broke when I saw the pictures online from Galveston. I cried. They literally have nothing. I know the feeling of pure helplessness and am so happy that the "helping hands" of the church are comforting those in need.
