HAS always been an ENGAGING MONTH.
And for this little couple it has been especially engaging...
(Borrowed the photo from my niece Marilyn, thanks!)
Don't they look fully engaged?
They really are quite happy!
Congratulations to my niece Karen and her soon to be hubby, Tyler.
Karen is coming home for the Christmas break soon and Tyler will also be coming for a visit at some point during that time.
I can't wait for him to spend some time with our crazy family so I can really put him through the ringer...hee, hee...you know I am kidding!
I do hope we will have the opportunity to have some fun with him and get to know him better. (Not all of us have met him yet.)
Smash was able to meet Tyler just this past October, but when we announced to the kids that they were getting married, he said he didn't even know they were dating! I asked Smash why he thought Karen would bring Tyler with her to meet him and he said, "I thought they were friends!" Honestly the kid looked more shocked at the thought of her dating than he did when I told him she was getting married. (He's 12.)
He did tell us that Tyler could do this cool thing with his eyebrows, kind of like the wave...you know that will be the first thing everyone asks to see when we meet him. Smash also said that the only thing that would make his eyebrow wave even cooler was if he were to grow a unibrow.
Karen and Tyler,
Congratulations on your engagement!
We wish you love and happiness, always.
Aunt Mar~ and family
It's only fair that you should borrow a picture from me. I've taken plenty. I also would very much like to see Tyler's eyebrow trick. What do you think our chances are of talking him into growing that unibrow? Congratulations Karen!

Thanks!! I'm pretty excited, myself. And I'm so looking forward to having Tyler in Texas.
I promise, I'll get some pics of us and post them. But... that might have to wait until next week. This week is going to be CRAZY!

Congratulations you two. Even though I haven't ever met you Karen, I feel as if I know you because of all the many postings on Mar's blog. I am so happy for you! What an exciting time in life.
