Ben and I both absolutely loves these pictures. They capture the reality of two people who just happen to be Mr and Mrs. President. I love the pictures of the children. They are adorable.

What a happy family they seem to be. I never thought I would see the day...It made it all the more huge for us since Travis was there during all of the history taking place. He was overwhelmed when he saw the president smiling and waving at them at the parade.

I was lucky to have a professor who wanted to watch the inauguration. Some of my friends were in class with professors who just kept teaching. (Not that teaching is a bad thing...)

The really neat part was my professor's reaction to the inauguration. He told us about his experiences as young man, witnessing the prejudice and segregation. He even teared up at the end of the ceremony. I could tell that for him, this was a very tender moment.

I love the pictures that you have posted! I especially love the looks on the agents' faces. They really do look so awkward!
