OR TOTALLY TRIPPING?
Barely awake, I rolled out of bed, found my running shoes and stretched as I groggily made my way outside before sunrise.
After only a couple of days of tripping it SUV style with the fam (a favorite way to go!), our surroundings were completely different from our every day; all of my senses were revived in an instant. Just beyond the front door and porch I was welcomed by a different world with cool, crisp air (the kind that is untouchably dry), crystal clear blue sky, red rocks and sand, all crowned by large snow-capped mountains.
So different from where we began our journey, yet absolutely familiar.
And definitely photo worthy.
As the sun made its slow ascent in the sky, everything it touched turned warm and brilliant.
All of this beauty - with me standing smack dab in the middle of these two glorious morning scenes - a lovely sunrise to my east and the red rocks of Moab to my west.
Ahh, vacation...breathe in..., breathe out..., renew.
Wow! Such beautiful pictures. I can't wait to hear more about your vacation. It sounds very restful.
