I love my gang.
I love that they will stop what they are doing and smile for my camera, even if they would rather be enjoying something else.
I love that they will play along when I get a little goofy.
I love that they are happy to explore this amazing earth with me.
I love that they are good friends with each other.
I love that they make me LAUGH!
I love that they write me notes. Even in the sand and rock on our hikes in Moab, they would leave me notes to let me know they were thinking of me. That meant a lot to me since I was often bringing up the f a r rear...(having limitations from lupus can sometimes be lonely).
I love that one member of my gang calls himself my "pack mule" and is happy to hike along side me and pack my gear.
I love that my gang hiked (okay, so they ran) up to delicate arch with me and waited for sunset (even though it was cloudy) just because I wanted to see the sun go down over that picturesque part of the world. (And even though it was cloudy, it was so very worth the effort!)
I love that each patiently waited until sunset, then we all ran back down in the dark (2 were injured, sorry girls).
I love that my gang gladly popped out of bed at 5:00 one morning in order to hike in the dark with me.
I love that we climbed upon a boulder and witnessed together the sun rising.
I love that my gang seemed to enjoy that time as much as I did; waiting and watching as the sun's powerful rays warmed the earth and caused the colors of the landscape to turn brilliantly vibrant.
I love that we had that peaceful time all to ourselves; together we experienced the gift of light.
I love that each of us gained something personally and spiritually from that beautiful morning memory maker.
Many thanks to my favorite gang.
It's a goofy little gang... You fit right in!

Wow. WOW! I don't know what else to say. Arches is a beautiful place. I hope to get there one day myself. Your gang loves you dearly. I am glad you had the opportunity to take a breather and enjoy some time with "your man" capturing the beauty of this earth.

You know what I think is so cool? Your kids will ALWAYS remember what an awesome experience they had, thanks to the efforts of their wonderful mother.
I love that you document your family adventures. And I'm sure that they do, too.
And I love that Uncle Johnathan comments on every post, so we get his input as well.

You guys experience more in 4 years than I have in my lifetime. You need to write a book. I'm not kidding either. It would be a best seller for sure...
