We will be traveling home this week.
Mixed emotions.

Nathan is doing amazingly well at school and from everything I have been able to gather from our conversations, he is loving it! He is working hard and finding time for lots of fun also. He is enjoying his classes and seems to be learning a great deal from his professors. He has a huge group of friends and they are always doing something fun together. He is busy! It's good.
I am so very happy for him.
Our Bishop called me a few days ago and said that it looks like Nathan should be receiving his mission call this week. (This is happening FAST!) Oh, the range of emotions that conversation put me through! But this is such an exciting and happy time for Nathan, I cannot help but feel grateful that he is having such wonderful opportunities.

My grandmother is staying with my Uncle Ken and Aunt Barbara now. I am very thankful that she is being cared for in such a loving environment. My mom and Aunt Mary have also been spending much of their time helping her and caring for her. She has certainly had her ups and downs, in and out of the hospital...but it appears that she is regaining strength and doing better. My grandma is quite the amazing lady! There were a few nights when I was sure that we would lose her. She has been so sick. Her hospital stay really set her back. She was not cared for as well as she should have been. It was apparent. When I saw what was happening there, I could not leave her. I am thankful that she is comfortable now, that she seems to be improving and that I did have that time with her in the hospital even though it was extremely difficult.

Once Jonathan and the kids were able to join me, we have been able to fit some fun-time into our schedule. I was certainly happy to see them arrive, I was ready for reinforcements and the love and support that can only accompany them.
Much more to come as I find the time and ability to share!
I'm glad to know Great Grandma is out of the hospital and with family. I felt the same way about my mom's hospital time before she passed away. It was not good, and we were so happy to get her home with us.
Can't wait to hear about Nathan's mission call. Once he gets to the MTC, Tyler will check on him for you.

Nathan and Grandma, we love them both.
We are grateful to be together as a family. Also Carlotta is doing well!

Hope your grandma gets better soon. Sounds like "manhood" is coming to Nathan quickly!

So glad to hear your Grandma is doing better. I know how much you love her. Nathan is adjusting just as I thought he would. Great experiences stacking up already for him.
