I KNOW I COULD, so here goes...
First, let me preface this by saying that I do have permission from Emily to share this, well...sort of, she would probably have me NOT share it,
but it is too good to keep to myself!
Emily, I love you! Hopefully my sharing this won't scar you too much...
A week or so ago, Nathan and Emily were laughing about something, it soon erupted into the kind of side-splitting giggles that landed them on the floor.
It was the really good kind of roaring laughter that has you rolling around on the floor, begging for less, hoping for more. You know the type, it's almost painful - but oh, so great!
I got the giggles just watching them.
A little noise escaped Emily.
In other words, a little toot.
I said, "Em, was that you?!"
"Hee, hee, ya, that was me...giggle."
Much more laughter ensued.
To which another little noise escaped.
Once more, I asked, "EM, was that YOU?! Again?!"
"Tee hee, hee. Umm, Yaaa?"
I then asked her, "Do you need to go to the bathroom or something?"
She sweetly and laughingly answered,
"Um, I don't think so, it's just a little laughing gas!"
A little laughing gas never hurt anyone!

If poor Em is letting laughing gas escape now in her life, she has no hope as she gets older. It only gets worse!

Laughing gas, that's hilarious. I told my niece that farts were always funny. She proved me wrong twice, then told everyone that I was the one who cheered her on to break wind freely. The first time she was eating dinner with her grandfather (senior partner at Arthur Anderson at the time) and his co-workers, the second time she stood up and did it in the aisle - at a wedding! Thank goodness the bride had already made it down the aisle. They're divorced now. I hope it wasn't because the wedding stunk!

I think that this just goes to show that for Em, life is a gas! What a happy way to go through life. Keep it up, kiddo!!
