A PACKAGE PARTY!
With quite a few packages that needed to be sent to various destinations, I held a packaging party with the fam.
We busied ourselves in the kitchen and family room for a few hours of the day: making treats, wrapping gifts, writing notes and creating together.
The tunes on the radio kept us moving, dancing and singing.
We laughed as we worked alongside each other.
So many times I just "take care of things" like putting together packages and sending them in the mail without anyone else around. This was (by far) much more delightful!
Watching our children while they create something is beautiful to me. I enjoy seeing their creativity in action. They have phenomenal ideas and as I observe them I often gain new insight into their personal perspective.
I'm thankful for a supportive and caring little family. I'm thankful for help in accomplishing the tasks I needed to complete. I'm thankful that we can turn anything into a fun time and a party. :)
Now that's what I call a total package! (ha, ha.)
Time to wrap this up!
That's so punny Mar! Katelyn's teacher has turned their creativity center into a wrapping station for the month of December, and the kids can go and wrap empty boxes together. She's very excited to do this. Anything where she gets to use scissors and tape she's excited about!

You just gave me an idea. I do not like putting pkgs together for some unknown reason. I ought to do it with my grandchildren. They would love it.
