ON how to do laundry.
Another project for school. This one involved detailed instructions and photos that would be able to teach anyone, even someone who had never seen laundry appliances (or clothes for that matter) how to successfully follow and complete the task.
Smash was REALLY excited about his project until he realized how many steps are involved in even one load of laundry. At one point I believe I heard him whisper that he should have chosen "How to make a pb sandwich" instead.
He included instructions for front-loading washers as well as top-loading, just in case. Every step had to be documented, no matter how silly or inconsequential it might have seemed.
Thank heaven this project was for his English class and not Spanish class; having to translate all of those steps may have left him in the spin cycle! ha, ha.
He was very thorough,
he never got too agitated,
and he really cleaned up on this one!
I think should publish and sell his laundry how-to up here at BYU. I've known a few people who haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet. . .

Haha! I bet this was a good school project for Aunt Mar too! Now we all know if anybody in the house knows how to do laundry besides her, it's Smash!!!

Scott knew how to get the laundry done. He instructed Elizabeth day after day after day for ten days. When we returned from our trip to Norway, Scott looked squeaky clean, Elizabeth looked like she had been dragged through the wash. Just as in your recent blog: Life is not fair!"
Moral: Leave more specific assignments, or even better. do not leave Scott in charge.
