Nothing extraordinary.
And I am thankful for that.
I tried to be home as much as possible today. That didn't mean I could stay home all day, which is what I really wanted to do...
But the day was a beautiful day and it kept me moving forward. The day was so lovely, it was easy to appreciate, in fact, I kept thinking I could live somewhere with days like this forever. (Maybe Costa Rica?)
After taking care of things for the play at school and things for the band, shuttling the kids to their various activities, etc., I came home and changed into my pj's. Early. The plan was to go to bed early but I couldn't completely shut down until I knew all the kids were home and their homework, etc., had been finished.
Around 11 PM.
At that point in the day, the thing I felt most grateful for was that everyone had come home safe and sound and we were all under one roof, together.
Ahh Mar,
You are so sweet.
What you don't say is that you spent the entire day in pain. Pain that you didn't ask for and don't fully understand, but that you have accepted as a part of your life.
You are an incredible person.

Like I always say...there is nothing so wonderful as regular life. I crave it when I don't have it.

Ah hah! How could I have missed that! You are a sneaky little Lloyd. I'm glad that your pj's got used a little earlier than normal today.

Pajamas are my favorite. I would rather be in my sweats than in anything else.
And I'm sorry that you've been in pain, but I'm glad for the little joys (beautiful day, pajamas, family time) that help keep you going.
And I agree with Uncle Jonathan. You are definitely an incredible person.
