TO MY engineer/rock climber of a hubby!
If you look closely, you will see he is harnessed.
The roof pitches in TX are terribly (and dangerously) high.
So, since he loves me
and since I love Christmas and all things Christmas
and since I love lights on the house...
and since he doesn't like to hire people to do this sort of thing,
he does it himself.
But he has decided to be completely safe while doing so...
and that makes me happy!
Here is where he tied off: The back of the house around a large brick post that holds up our porch roof. Nice looking zip-line, huh?!
Thanks for lighting up my life!
Huh...he's way up there? What a mighty tall house you have!!

How sweet is that. I'm glad he's harnessed. Your house scares me. I would be terrified up there. Me and heights do not agree.

Your girls just told me today that he harnessed himself to do your lights! That is awesome! I had wondered how he got the lights up there. We have the same ladder as you and I didn't think it was as tall as your highest point.

You and Uncle Jonathan are both very clever. It seems like doing the lights this way is even a little more fun than just using a ladder. Can't wait to see those lights in person soon.
