Woo Hoo for BYU! They have just gotten themselves a gem of a student! A great experience awaits you. (Love those darn cute shoes, by the way)

I LOVE so many things about this post.
First: Yay for BYU!! Emily, you will have so much fun. Really, you are in for the time of your life! And we're really only about 15-20 minutes away now, depending on traffic, so we can meet up with you/take care of you any time.

Second: Aunt Mar, these photos are awesome! I love all of the pictures, but really am loving the first and second the best. The first because sometimes when we're at a crossroads, not everything is totally clear to us--all we see are the crossroads. And the second because then we realize there really is only one (right) choice. (Even though it's a left turn only arrow--from this angle it really looks like it's going in the right direction.)

And Em, you are adorable. And beautiful. Can't wait to have you up here!

What a great chosen adventure.

Now Mar, when you come to see Emily you can see Baby H at the same time!!

I'm so excited for Emily! My wish is that she will have roommates who adore her as much as I adore her mom...

Great (actually, great is not a big enough word in the case) pics, Mar! What an incredible photo essay. And it doesn't hurt that you have an amazingly beautiful model to shoot, eh?

(Though Smash looked mighty amazing, too--between that field of flowers and your camera skills, this is a great photo op!)

I am amazed that she made a decision!

That's so exciting Emily! Congrats! It's a great place to be. :)

Grandma Joan

Emi: You should feel wonderful about all the comments made on your mom's blog about you. Everyone does love and respect you. Grandpa and I do believe BYU is the right place for you. We love you so much. Congratulations!!!

Way to go Em!! I am so excited for you. You are going to have such a great time at the Y. I am of course a little jealous that you will be so close to Baby H... But I think you are about to start an amazing journey and I can't wait to see what life has in store for you. Love you!!
