Fog can be beautiful, can't it? I think it is mysteriously beautiful.
On a foggy morning, the world around us seems to be shrouded by a natural and ethereal veil.
This early morning fog was wonderful to watch; it moved gracefully and actually quite quickly. I had to drive in the same areas for over an hour (as I shuttled kids) and I was able to see it drop and settle then lift and move to another area to settle again. The movement resembled a dance.
As the sun began to come out, I expected it to burn the fog off quickly but it didn't; the fog would instead move to another location. This fog seemed to want to hang on for the day.
But in the end, the sun won.
And that is how it should be, isn't it?
(I always love it when the sun (light) wins...)
