Who would have EVER guessed that a little red dress would be such a hit?
I didn't.
When I picked up two little dresses for two darling little girls, I didn't think much of it. But this time, since we ended up at Jonathan's parent's home for Thanksgiving, I got to see the reaction to the gift.
And the red dress was a hit! Addyson fell in love with it immediately and passed the cream dress on to her twin sis. Elyse was just fine with that, thank heaven. But the red dress was LOVED by Addyson. It really surprised me. She didn't put it down. She held it and carried it around. She wanted to know where it was if her mom put it away. It was so cute that she would be so excited about a little dress!
When Megan asked Addyson, "What shoes will you wear with your new dress?" Addyson replied, "NEW, red shoes!"
Well, those new red shoes, and a pair of gold shoes to go with the dress for Elyse are in a package and on their way to those two little girls. I couldn't resist!
Addyson's a girl after my own heart. (And it isn't surprising the Meg was the one to ask about shoes...that was one of her first words! No kidding!)
I asked Addyson if she could show me her ornament. Don't you love how kids "show" stuff to us?! :)
She's got NEW SHOES!!!
What great photos!
