Karen

That's one way to pump iron. Did the IV's hurt? I hope they weren't too bad. And I'm glad you are getting the care you need. We will keep praying for you!

Jonathan

I am amazed that Mar is able to post still, her body has been through so much.

Mar~

karen, it did hurt...burned, actually. Thanks for your prayers, I know they are helping.

Teresa

I love root beer! Especially if it makes you feel better....let's have a party...BYORB! I love you (you know that already).

Dear iron woman,
you don't have to post iron pictures
love,
your squeamish son

Very interesting process.
But oh,it does not sound like a day in the park.
Are the transfusions suppose to maybe get better as time goes on...less symptoms, etc? I hope someone is bringing in meals.

Thank you for the update Mar. This has got to get better soon.

When you get older, you learn a great deal about the human body, just because many of the parts begin to wear out, but I'm totally unaware of what an iron transfusion is. It does sound "brutal" (I think that is the word your Dr. used). We are praying so hard that this will help you, Marilyn. You have been through a lot. God bless you and your family at this difficult time. We send you our love and blessings.

Marilyn

Aunt Mar I am so sorry this is happening. It is so bizarre. I hope your doctor finds how to cure you fast. I love you and am praying for you. I love your great spirit and attitude. I am trying to face my challenges by thinking, "ok, how would Aunt Mar react to this?". GET WELL SOON!!!!
