A farmer-style hanging basket tree:
Once upon a day - many years ago, this hanging basket tree (not exactly sure what to call it) was welded together for my mother by her neighbor.
At that time it was freshly coated in white.
But the years had worn away at the finish and rust had taken over.
Because of that, it was no longer the cheerful greeting along the pathway to the entrance of the home as it once had been.
This week it was given new life - a makeover - a whole new look!
Megan stripped off the rust and then primed the metal.
And then it got a fresh coat (actually several coats) of fresh BLACK paint! It looks new and updated! Way to go, Meg!
Grandma was very happy with the outcome too:
(Wait until you see it with flowers!)
Way to go, Megan. I'm sure your grandma loved what you did for her. By the way, Megan, you are really growing into a beautiful young lady. Time passes too quickly, and I want you to know I miss you and love you.
P.S. Your grandmother, Cheryl, is really a beautiful woman. She never seems to get older. She stays so young and pretty. I can see where your mom gets her beauty.

Cool! That looks so great! And I love the idea of updating it to black. Nice call, Megan. And your sunglasses (I am assuming) are AWESOME.
