QUALITY TIME.
Family time, whether it is one-on-one time or all-together time, is my favorite kind of quality time. :)
There are so many things to be thankful for at this time of year. In writing down feelings of gratitude for the ordinary, daily things I have had to add a little extra.
Therefore, I add Day 10 Plus to the list.
Today, Saturday, Meg and I had some things to catch up on here at home.
Thinking today would be a great day for Jon and Smash to get some good, quality time together, I suggested a ski day for them. That would allow them a wonderful day while giving Meg and I the time we needed at home.
Although Meg and I had work to do, we did it together and we did find some time to hang out together too.
Smash and Jon had a fabulous day on the slopes! Smash tried snowboarding for the first time!
Jonathan said that Smash really only fell on his first run down the mountain. After that, he had it down and boarded all day like he'd been doing it for years! Lucky kid!!
Jonathan took some video of Smash trying out the snowboard and I must say I am impressed! Impressed with Smash and with Jonathan. Jonathan is a really good skier - in the video you will notice that he has to ski backward while taking the video of Smash.
And a small jump:
Cool! Thanks for posting!

You're a freaking natural smash! Never would have guessed it was your first time! You'll be shredden powder and throwing tricks in no time. You have entered the world of endless possibilities!

Smash: Welcome to the crazy Lloyd snowboarding clan. David knows what he is talking about. I believe he is my only son that snowboards, however, my grandchildren are great!!!!!!!
