What, what?! I totally missed Megan's birthday this year. Usually I remember it before it actually happens.

It's crazy to me that she just turned fifteen. I've been thinking a lot lately about little two-year-old Megan (since she's probably the two-year-old I've had the most exposure to) and just how tiny and precious she was. (You're still precious, Megs, just not tiny anymore.)

Anyway. Happy birthday, Megan!! I'm glad you got to scratch a couple more items off your bucket list!

Karen

PS--Megan really does seem to get her birthday-weather wishes. It's kind of awesome how things work out that way.

Karen,
Wasn't Megan an amazing two-year old?! I'd love to hear more about what you remember of her at that age.
I love to think back on her problem solving skills. Do you remember her ability to solve little issues in creative ways?
Thanks for your comment, she will love it!
Love you,

Grandma Joan

Megan:

I absolutely loved the post your mom created for you on your birthday. What an extraordinary birthday celebrating it with sending lanterns into heaven. I've always wished to be able to do this. Tangled is one of my favorite movies. You remind me of her in a lot of ways. It looked to me like you were so happy, celebrating a very special birthday for a very special girl. HAPPY BIRTHDAY and I love you, Megan.

15 WOW!!!

Happy birthday Megan!!

I too have been thinking of my sweet 2-year-old cousin. I can't believe how the time has flown!

I think my favorite memory of Megan at that age is the time our family came for dinner to your house on Pagewynne and there weren't enough seats. We were trying to figure out where Emily would sit or who she could share with when Megan brought in her bathroom step stool. I will never get over how clever all of my genius cousins were.

Sometimes I think as an adult we tend to over think things. It often takes the sweet simple perspective of a child to point us in the right direction.

megan :)

Thanks everyone:) you.guys are amazing! I love all of you so much!!
