Today I was privileged to have time with our married kids!
I enjoyed it so much that the moment I drove away I began to miss them.
Most of my time today was spent with our daughter-in-love, Diana. It was so nice to be with her. She is such a lovely and sweet lady. How happy I am that Nathan found her and won her over! She is easy to love!
I'm grateful for Diana.
We were able to meet up with Nathan between his classes and that was fun for us. We had a good chat - - Nathan told me about his studies and what he is researching and learning - - he taught me a lot in a short amount of time.
Nathan shared something so sweet about Diana; she studies along with him, his studies! She has already graduated and works full-time but she reads and studies his course material. He loves it! He said it really helps him to stay focused and retain the information. What a sweet (and smart) wife!
A family photo from their wedding day:
Here are some more recent photos from Diana's birthday in October; I was able to surprise her on her birthday (sort of), I picked her up from work and we met Nathan at PF Chang's for dinner...I think she knew I was coming... Nathan? Ha, ha!
I had to hustle back home this evening for Megan. Tonight she received her Young Womanhood Recognition Award and medallion. She also gave a great talk. That was a wonderful end to my day! Megan is such a funny girl. She has had that award earned for quite some time but hasn't gone through everything to make sure she had it all completed. Finally, a few days ago I was able to convince her to just "look" through her paperwork and see that she had earned the YW award. Sure enough, she had accomplished it! So, she was able to receive it tonight. After receiving her award and medallion, she sat down next to me, pulled out her medallion and said, "I think I will wear this every day!" So sweet!!
I'm grateful for the choices this daughter of ours is making! She is a wonderful young lady.
Congrats, Meg!

Megan is so beautiful. And I LOVE her dress.
Love, love, love that dress. (I kind of want one for myself.)
I also love that you live close enough to Nathan and Diana to get to visit them often. What a blessing for everyone.
